Rapid weight loss is possible, but that means
making changes in multiple areas at once.
Before you start any plan for rapid weight
loss, always consult your physician. Any
dietician will tell you that losing extra
pounds gradually via diet and exercise is
better than any rapid weight loss plan, and
they are right. The pitfall with shedding
unwanted weight quickly is that you tend to
gain it all back later. You will want to make
sure that you don’t fall back into old habits
and patterns once you have reached your
goal.
Changing your Diet If you
are really serious about rapid weight loss you
have no option but to change how you eat. That
means eating smaller meals, more frequently
throughout the day. Watch what you eat; focus
on the majority of your food being fresh. Make
sure that you include the good fats, like nuts,
avocados, olive oil, etc. Eliminating processed
sugars and white flour products should be at
the top of your list.
Intense Workouts
Another way to achieve rapid weight loss is via
intense exercise. New fitness science has
determined the best ways to reduce fat and
build a healthy muscular structure. New
terminology you may have heard about is circuit
training, bodyweight workouts, and high impact
cardiovascular exercises. You need a definite
plan of action.
You may want to do 3 days of intense workouts
(1 to 11/2 hours), like on Monday, Wednesday
and Fridays. Then alternate with walking or
swimming 5 miles on Tuesday, Thursday and
Saturday’s. Sunday’s are your day to rest,
literally.
This will take willpower and determination on
your part to change both the way you eat and
your exercise routine. At the end of this
article, we have referenced some excellent
weight loss programs to help you achieve your
goals.
Detoxification Stay up late
and you will see many detoxification products
advertized on TV in order to achieve rapid
weight loss. These products work in different
ways. One of the ways that a cleanse or detox
works is to eliminate the buildup of toxins in
your system.
Detoxification products work by flushing our
internal system of accumulated waste. If you
have had a history of high sugar consumption,
this converts to acid in our system and the way
that our body copes is to store these toxins in
our fat. If you have never gone through a
detoxification process before - you may want to
do this first, before drastically changing
everything else in your life (exercise and
diet). Be prepared to stay close to home while
your body rids itself of all this compacted
waste. It’s not a pretty sight!
Do Your Research Remember,
rapid weight loss is possible. The above
approach is a healthy way to go. But, you will
need to do your research first. You need to
know exactly what is involved and be aware of
any potential side effects and complications.
That way you can make an informed decision and
choose the method that you think would work
best for you.
