Small changes are the key to long term weight
loss. Turning on your fat burning machine can
be done in short steps. There are (three) areas
that you can make small changes immediately to
start on your journey for that perfect
weight.
Remember, every person has a different body
type and so find the weight loss tips that work
for you. Think of your body as an energy
machine. All machines need to be fueled. You
have heard the only way to weight loss is
through diet and exercise. Here are some weight
loss tips to turn on your fat burning
machine.
Weight Loss Tips 1 -
Turn on the fat burning machine!
Start with the fuel you put in your body. Eat
smaller meals four to five times per day.
Psychologically, this sends the message to your
body that you are not in starvation mode and
energy does not have to be stored. When you
eat, sit and slow down, enjoy every mouthful.
Eat in a stress free zone. As a kid, I remember
Mother telling me to ‘chew each mouthful at
least 20 times’. Decrease commercial sodium
intake; watch your salt. There are great sea
salts available, you can find one full of good
nutrients at (example website - www.seasalt.com
) as an example. Your body needs sodium and
other nutrients found in sea salt. Watch the
sodium seasonings that are put on your
food.
Weight Loss Tips 2 -
Clean out the toxins!
Water is the best way to start your elimination
system running. Your body needs to eliminate
the toxins or it backs up. When you exercise,
toxins are pushed into your elimination system.
Water is the best way to clean the toxins out.
What is the right amount of water for you? The
rule of thumb - take your total body weight,
divide that number by two, and that is the
amount of ounces of water your body needs.
Exchanging a glass of water for a processed
soft drink saves you hundreds of calories.
(Note: if you are drinking diet drinks - there
is a reason for the die in it!) Drinking fruit
juice is better than a processed soft drink.

website - www.dietdrinks.com )
For men, water retention and weight gain is
most visible in the abdominal area. The thighs,
hips, and buttocks are impacted on females. But
what makes these unwanted additions in weight
and body fat?
Weight Loss Tips 3 -
Eat before 8 PM in the evening.
Late night eating or snacking really puts the
weight on. Watch for foods/drinks high in
calories. Literally, a minute on the lips -
forever on the hips! Exercise. Your metabolism
must come up to a certain level for it to burn
off all the calories you consume each day and
then to start burning the stored fat. There are
several ways to change our metabolism. One way
is to eat more frequent (smaller) meals
throughout the day. Building up your muscle
mass helps to burn the fat.
More Weight Loss Tips - Drink herbal tea, limit
high carbohydrates foods, don't drink alcohol,
use low calorie food alternatives, don't
starve, drink 1 or more glasses of water before
meal, and be consistent.
